ALPHA x SRL CWU-45P
This collaborative outerwear is based on the flight jacket of the American military brand ALPHA INDUSTRIES and incorporates design elements from SeaRoomlynn. This piece is particular about the color, length and balance. Comes with an original airplane name.
[Original nylon fabric with excellent cold protection]
Made from ALPHA's original "FLIGHT NYLON" fabric, which is high density, glossy and firm. The inside is quilted with padding, and the sleeves are ribbed to keep out the wind and keep you warm.
The "Dusty Pink" has a gray lining, while the "Black" has the same color.
[SRL's take on an authentic flight jacket]
Based on the silhouette of ALPHA's proud "CWU-45P" (the flight jacket officially adopted by the US Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps), the length is slightly shorter than usual for SRL. The rounded shape gives this piece a good balance. The rounded collar is also a feature.
[Military multi-functional design]
The iconic Velcro flap pocket allows you to put your hand in from the top.
The cigarette pocket on the left arm has a ribbon, which is the symbol of ALPHA. The ribbon with the logos of both brands is removable. There is also a utility pocket next to it. Even the pen cap that was attached to prevent the tip of the pen from tearing the fabric when the pilot put the pen away is reproduced (it was made of steel at the time, but has now been improved to plastic with an emphasis on the wearing comfort).
The inside of the jacket also has an inner pocket for a hand warmer or smartphone. The original airplane name is the highlight of the jacket.
The patch on the chest is also a military accent. The "SRL" logo on the left chest is removable, and when removed, the ALPHA logo appears. Wing embroidery reminiscent of military insignia and badges is on the right chest.
In addition, there is a loop on the center back so that you can hang it up when you take it off. The zipper has the ALPHA original logo on it.

<About the CWU-45P>
This flight jacket is officially adopted by the United States Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps.
As a successor to the MA-1 jacket, a flight jacket using flame-retardant material (material that is difficult to burn and has self-extinguishing properties if it does catch fire) was introduced. This was the latest intermediate zone flight jacket, the J-CWFS, which later became the CWU-45/P.
At the time, in order to increase the survival rate of pilots in the event of an in-flight fire, the outer material of the CWU-45P, which complied with MILSPEC (a procurement standard established by the US Department of Defense), was made of Nomex, a flame-retardant aramid fiber material developed by DuPont.
The CWU-45/P was first adopted by the U.S. Navy, then the U.S. Air Force decided to adopt it in 1976, and it is now also used by the Army. The current CWU-45/P made by ALPHA is made of flight nylon material, but it still has the excellent functionality such as mobility and heat retention.
Needless to say, it is extremely warm, and is a highly-finished flight jacket that incorporates all of the excellent details of a flight jacket, such as a rounded collar, large flap pockets on both sides, a Velcro patch on the chest, and a utility pocket on the left arm.
